Albino horses USA horse

The USA horse, American Albino or otherwise known as the

American crème and white regardless of breeding, have distinguishing features of pink skin and truly white coloring along with a white mane and tail and any colour eyes being accepted.

Common eye colouring being amber and very pale blue and part-colored.

Many horses eligible for registration with their own breed registry and are of a particular color are often "double registered" in both registries, often increasing their sale value by doing so.

With stallions, double registration may also increase their breeding value by widening the set of interested mare owners.

The American creme and white is a colour breed.

This is a term that refers to horses that are registered based primarily on their coat color, regardless of the horse's actual breed or breed type.

Some color breeds only register horses with color that also meet specific pedigree criteria, others register animals based solely on color, regardless of parentage.

Average height being around 14 - 14.2hh.

The foundation stallion was “Old King" who was born in 1908.

In 1917 two brothers from Nebraska bought the stallion and “Old King” was put to selected Morgan mares.

Careful inbreeding followed to set the type.

The registry was set up in 1937 and the American Albino Horse Club was formed at the White Horse Ranch in Naper, Nebraska. All bloodlines of each horse were recorded, with the progeny being “Old King”.

The breed is versatile and used for driving, riding, jumping, western show and pleasure, dressage, working stock horse, endurance competition, entertainment industry, and farm work and circus performances.
